RADAR · PARTICIPATION & DELIVERY
A 2023 bounty has new activity in 2026. Is it ready to claim?
On October 20, 2026, EdgeChains issues #290 and #273 were open and last updated October 19. They were created on December 3 and November 26, 2023 respectively. Recent activity is not a new job posting. We did not confirm payment, claim a bounty or submit an implementation.
Three dates answer different questions
Creation dates locate the original request; update dates show later issue changes; synchronization dates show when the directory read it. None alone proves that a maintainer will pay for a new implementation today.
Comment counts measure discussion. The ninety-two comments on #290 are not evidence of ninety-two competing applicants or a calculable selection probability.
Acceptance extends beyond working code
Issue #290 asks for JavaScript SDK redaction classes that chain with existing endpoints, tests, a working example and a Loom demonstration. A standalone AWS call does not cover that integration requirement.
Issue #273 asks for direct Qdrant API use wrapped in project classes, rather than a Qdrant package. Confirm whether its old branch and integration assumptions still apply before implementation.
A label is not a payment commitment
Issue #290 carried a $50 label; the directory marks payment unconfirmed. Issue #273 listed no amount. Open status, a bounty label and an amount are separate signals, not an agreed contract with you.
Confirm whether new work is accepted, whether you may claim it, the current acceptance checklist and who pays under which conditions. Without confirmation, assess the effort as learning or open-source contribution rather than certain income.
Make a small verification decision first
Read the current repository, target branch, existing implementation, related PRs and maintainer responses. Resolve changed assumptions and limit unconfirmed effort.
Keep discussion confirmation, code submission, merge and actual payment as separate milestones. This case study does not claim that either bounty is currently payable.
